Crawlie's SEO tools run almost entirely inside your own browser. When you audit a live URL or crawl a site, your browser fetches that page's HTML (via public relays or your own configured backend) and analyzes it locally — the analysis itself is not sent to us or stored on any server we control.
Some tools save small pieces of data in your browser's local storage — for example, a saved UTM link history, your custom fetch backend URL, or blog posts created in local demo mode. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere unless a tool explicitly says otherwise (for example, when you configure your own backend, requests go to that backend).
If this site displays advertising (for example, via Google AdSense), the advertising provider may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more and opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site.

To fetch live pages for audits and crawls without a server of our own, this site routes requests through a small number of public CORS relay services (and optionally, a backend you configure yourself). These services receive the URL you're checking in order to fetch it on your behalf; we don't control their own data practices and recommend reviewing their policies if you have concerns about a specific URL.
